Did not honor quoted price and failed to discuss the price increase with me they just pulled it out of my refund without telling me. Then upon asking about it they claimed they would refund me the difference and never did. Now they are completely avoiding any communication with me. Definitely do not recommend.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this tax service at all costs! I regret every second of using this service. First, I submitted my paperwork two weeks early. At the last minute on filing day, the accountant decided they needed more information. Of course the only way to know this would be to log into the site. So, they missed the filing date. Second, they could not figure out how to file my state tax return and are still to this day trying to figure it out. The intermediary system and messaging system is infuriating. Absolutely hated using this service. I was shocked by the 4.7 star rating. Terrible, zero stars if possible.

Had a horrible experience with Ageras. I used them to do my form 1040, and while I thought I would be able to communicate in a fluid way with my accountant - I couldn't reach them directly for several days until I pressed for it. A lot of personal information I submitted was completely disregarded, and my return didn't reflect my income in an appropriate way. It felt like whoever was doing the work had no idea how to do taxes. When I expressed confusion and tried to help clear it up - they created a new 1040 which was entirely different and also completely unsubstantiated. Eventually had to go with another accountant who had no problem working with me and did great work quickly with no confusion whatsoever. Ageras was and is the most incompetent accountant firm I've worked with thus far.
