If there were an option to choose zero stars this would be my rating. Lou took over for our accountant in 2017 and 2018. He filed our taxes and put income under my Social Security number that belonged to my wife and told/assured us it wouldn’t be a problem. We then received a tax bill of over $100,000. I have tried to reach him for two years when the notices started coming in to have it fixed and finally had to hire a new accountant to correct his error. It has cost us over $2000 for the correction and the underestimating penalty from the IRS and still no response from him or his office. NOT A TRUSTWORHTY CPA. He dodged calls when he was preparing the taxes and didn’t even get then filed that year until June when I finally sat in his office and told him he had until 1:00 to get the taxes filed or I would go somewhere else.
