Gerstein's Tax Service

My husband and I decided to try Gerstein instead of using TurboTax because this was our first year filing as a married couple. Our initial meeting with Josh went well enough, and we found the pricing reasonable. But all communication since that first meeting has been really difficult. Another accountant from their firm emailed us out of the blue to ask us questions we had already answered at that in-person meeting (we were not forewarned that there would be a second person working on our return). It took a long time to get any replies. They had promised our return would be done "within a week or two" (we submitted all documents early-mid February) and it took over a month to get the return back from them - so long that we actually had to review our tax documents while we were on our honeymoon!!
