$995 down the drain. I filed a whole year ago and still havent received my stimulus check. I do not recommend..

I waited a long time to post this review, but since people are looking for an accountant now to do their taxes, I thought now would be the time. Last year I hired Mary to do my 2017 income taxes. When I went to pick up my return I sat and looked at it and saw that my home real estate taxes had not been put on the return. This made a huge difference in my return. Instead of owing money, I was due a refund. Mary corrected my return and I left. After I got home I decided to just go through the return and do all the math - adding and subtracting. I originally thought it would be a waste of time because I figured Mary used a computer program and the math would be accurate. I found out it was not. I called Mary and told her and she had to do an amended return and I had to mail it in to the IRS and wait for the 80 more dollars I was owed. This was all just too much for me. I will not be using Mary anymore. If I am going to pay her over $150 to do my return I should not have to redo it myself.
