Hood & Associates (H&A) acquired my accountants business in Muskogee. Soon after the acquisition, all but one of the original staff have left (H&A) Muskogee. I am disappointed on so many levels with my experience of H&A. First, the automated phone system is cumbersome and when I used the phone tree (on several occasions) to try and talk with a person at any of the locations, I was sent a voicemail. Secondly, H&A is terrible at returning phone calls. I had questions on my taxes for 3 separate businesses and on my personal as well. I was awaiting K-1's for a partnership. I left all the relevant information with the front office professional at the Muskogee location 4 weeks before the deadline. After 2 weeks of hearing nothing I called and left multiple VM's. Finally, 4 days before filing deadline, I received a call stating that the front desk professional was no longer with H&A and my information had not been reviewed. I finally received my prepared K-1, 1 day before deadline. Thirdly,

Hands down the worst place to let handle your personal or business taxes! Customer service is nonexistent. They’ve cost me $10,000 over the past 2 years in late fees & penalties due to their inability to file our returns on time and/or correctly. You get bounced around from agent to agent and nobody in the office seems to know what’s going on. Absolutely terrible service.

The best in the business! I always recommend them to any and everyone in our community. They are extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service!
