H&R Block

Do not do your taxes through H&R. I don't care which one it is.. they're all bad! They'll tell you they have so many years experience and still mess important information up. I had the IRS send me a letter saying I owed $2500.00 and when I tried to contact the woman who did our taxes she said not to pay them because it wasn't accurate. I waited to make sure and called the IRS every morning until I got an answer and they told me I did need to pay that, so I did. Not to mention I never got my return for 2019 ... not until 2021 that is. That situation rubbed me the wrong way and I feel like their employees really don't pay attention (regardless how much experience they swear to have) Plus not to mention how overpriced their bad service is.

Always quick and easy

The absolute worst tax service. Unprofessional. I called multiple times to Gloria is the most incompetent tax preparer I’ve ever came across. She proceed my federal return and with the state she said there was an error in the system and she would call me later on the week. Two weeks later no response. She imputed information wrong and messed up my federal return. With the state there were many errors too. I confronted the “manager” and told her I wanted a second opinion. Ten minutes later another tax preparer spoke with us and told us that she’s notorious for only helping Hispanic people and giving other minorities the run around. DO NOT trust these people to do your taxes. It’s been a nightmare.
