H&R Block

This place is incredible in every way. We ran into a few issues with our taxes this last year and decided to get a bit more help to sort through things. Several staff members helped us to better understand our concerns in a kind, efficient, and helpful manner. One staff member in particular needs to be recognized for her AMAZING personality and efficiency, Diana Harmon. She not only helped us to quickly sort through our taxes, but she also somehow managed to settle our fears and make us laugh a multitude of times in the process. She is a light to this world. The customer service at this H&R Block is on a level unknown to most consumer-oriented industries. Thank you for helping us to resolve our concerns in such a professional, timely, and compassionate manner.

Horrible experience. We filed an extension in the spring and they did fine with that, but we spent the entire summer trying to get our return actually done. When we went in person, they didn't know we were coming (even though we had made an appointment) and read our social security numbers and other personal information out loud for all to hear. They seemed to have no idea what they were talking about. After months of going back and forth with them messaging that they were "working on it" or them just not responding at all, we gave up and filed with a private accountant. Stay away!
