J Chester & Associates, Inc Dallas CPA Firm

We were referred by a good friend and were certainly pleased. Everyone on the team were professional, kind, knowledgeable and patient with new clients. We highly recommend J Chester and Associates without reservation.

We used this company for 1 year. Now they will not respond to our emails for documents. It’s been 11 business days and Jon and Gilbert have failed to even respond. Outside of that, dealing with Gilbert was awful. He was very rude, condescending, and would shift the blame on many things he couldn’t explain correctly. If I could give 0 stars I would. UPDATE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: We did complain MULTIPLE times to Gilbert. He was very abrasive, dismissive, and arrogant to any complaint or concern. Jon's pathetic attempt to dismiss my review, by his statement, "As we were the 3rd firm in as many years..." Well, we moved from out of state or we would have kept our first firm as they were much better than J.Chester. We fired J.Chester because we couldn't bare to work with Gilbert ever again. Jon's response is a perfect showcase to how you will be dealt with when you have valid concerns. Hired them to do our taxes. They made so many egregious errors on our return. We had them done by someone else who calculated we owed 1/4 of what they told us. They missed so many small and large things. I would not recommend.
