Worst Experience ever! Mrs. Brenner failed to file our taxes on time even after having them in February. She said she would file for an extension. Which she never did. She also told us that our taxes with the extension would be due Oct 15. She charged us $500 to prepare a single tax return with a single W2. While we felt that this was high the amount she said we had to pay in was 60% of the total income. While we paid it in full when she told us to, it was early November that the IRS contacted us regarding addition interest and penalties because she had failed to send in the extension paper work and the taxes with the extension was actually due August 15, not October 15. The penalties and interest came in around an additional $3,500. It has been a few years since this event, but I have found that dishonest people run dishonest business, and dishonest people don't change.
