SCOTT ACCOUNTING AND TAX FIRM LLC

My experience was nothing short of nightmarish. I picked up my completed tax return on 3/26/21, at which time I also paid for services. However, my tax return was just submitted on 5/10/21. After numerous attempts to contact this firm to inquire about the oversight, I'm still left baffled and without explanation as to why it took 6.5 weeks to submit my tax return. I knew that something was wrong and I contacted the IRS and CT Department of Revenue Services multiple times. Every time, I was told that nothing was submitted on my behalf for tax year 2020. However, Scott Accounting and Tax Firm LLC told me on three separate occasions that my return had been submitted. It wasn't until 5/10/21 that they were actually submitted them. I'm emailing with the owner as I'm typing this review and he refuses to acknowledge the oversight. I've flat out asked him why my return was not submitted on the date that I rendered payment (3/26/21) and he refuses to answer my question. Needless to say, I will

Mr. Scott is unlike many tax preparers I’ve been to he is very patient and professional and you do not feel rushed. I like how he puts a calm attitude into his work and explain everything in details. He is easily accessible and always return calls promptly. His price is quite reasonable also. will always use his tax service

Horrible service and CPA. Used his services last year and my whole tax return got screwed up. He put the wrong SSN on my tax return without even informing me. The IRS kept rejecting my return, until I figured out that it was due to the wrong SSN. In addition, I had to educated this CPA on military tax laws, and he refused with passion to believe me until he called the State of CT. Very degrading manners and didn't even apologize about his mistake. Also, once filed and paid, you just can't get a hold of them. Their service is ridiculous and it seems that all these reviews are fake or bought. Do not recommend!!
