My roommate and I have been renting from Spina (technically Joby Properties) since 2012, and have been very happy with them. They have been very responsive with service issues and have been flexible on the rare occasions that rent has been late. Rent increases have been minimal (our next lease renewal will bring a total increase of $100/mo over the course of 6 leases...can't complain about that), which shocked us considering we're in Point Breeze and our block is becoming really popular. They even allowed me to sign the lease when our former roommate moved out...despite the fact that my credit was less than stellar. (I was initially not on the lease, but my occupancy was written into the original lease.) Joe has been a great landlord and we've been happy to continue living here.

Nancy a partner at Spina CPA has been preparing our tax returns for almost a decade, as a real estate investor, it is extremely crucial to have a CPA that has knowledge of real estate investment and development, Nancy is extremely knowledgeable and has not only prepared our filings, but has been an advisor with future projects and sales. She has also helped consult with us regarding 1031 exchanges, different tax breaks etc. She is always available for questions etc, and makes time for her clients. Real estate investors are possibly the worst client for a CPA lol, we have a tendency of not having our Quickbooks done in time or efficient , so we are definitely not the easiest of clients, Nancy has been an asset to us and we are thankful that she has us as a client.

I loved working with them until the moment I announced I was moving. Talk about a full 180! Immediate disrespect and rude behaviour until I was forced to give them my entire security deposit. Don't expect your security deposit back or any agreements to be honoured unless you have a lawyer because they are GREEDY and unreasonable and will charge you to do their jobs. Despite enjoying them as a property manager while living there, the behaviour afterwards leads me to believe I had a rare experience.
