After getting a letter from IRS, I notified them that they said I owed $15,000 MORE for 2019❗️I was frantic, had trouble connecting to the person who prepared it, and when I finally did, they told me to FAX them paperwork. I do, and never get a call back, or email. So after 5 days, I call again, and it was like starting all over. Nothing had been looked at to find the problem ! I am furious. Very unconcerned, and certainly not responsive! So, I go to another CPA, and it took him less than 5 minutes to see what was wrong , and reassure me it can be fixed easily. Said I might owe $1000, or less! He clearly explained how it had happened, and that it was a common mistake. Guess who will be doing my taxes from now on? NOT STEPHENS AND LAWSON❗️Very disappointed and dissatisfied.
