Unfortunately, there were tons of problems with my experience with Usha, the tax preparer who was assigned to me. She incorrectly told me that my employer did not withhold any state taxes for 2022, when that was not the case. The preparer failed to read the W-2 correctly indicating that state taxes were withheld, and very seriously financially inconvenienced me as I ended up paying hundreds of dollars in state taxes that were not actually due, and had to wait weeks to have the refund check received. Also, my preparer told me that the refund would be received as an ACH to my bank account, when in fact the state of Ohio never received my ACH information and so I had to wait much longer to receive a check. I was offered a partial refund of $50 for the inconvenience, which I was told would also be direct deposited, and I had to keep calling the front desk because my preparer stopped responding to my follow-up inquiries via email, but then when after 6 days I still had not received the $50
