Im the type of person that files their personal tax return as soon as i get my W2 so I wanted to set up an appointment as quick as possible with a tax professional. I was recommended Highland Tax by a friend and set the appointment. Met with Belinda who was very nice, she went over my paperwork, the process seemed to be going normal but I was told that they needed a few more days to complete the return. I felt going in that I was going to be negatively affected by the Trump Tax Scam but i felt that Highland was working hard to help me get the best result possible. A few days turned into almost a month. I had to reach out multiple times to get an update on the status of my return. Each time I was told I'd get a call back but that never happened. After the 3rd follow up call I was told to come in the next business day. I didnt meet with Belinda this time but with someone else who went over the return. Everything Mr. Crawley said last month is true. This has been a nightmare experience. Dropped my taxes off at least three weeks before the deadline. Got them back two months after the filing deadline, and they charged me over three times as much as the year before for the same taxes. So, I write the checks and immediately mail them from inside the main post office. The IRS was okay, but KY Revenue says I owe them over a grand because I waited so long after filing. Even the tax guys inside Walmart wouldn't do this. These folks could mess up a two-car funeral, and it's costing me a lot of money.

Worst service I’ve ever had. Have been waiting for my business taxes to be finished for almost 2 months and still have not received them. I was told that they were finished and so I made the drive there to find out that they had misplaced them. Then I was told they would be rushed and finished immediately. When I called 3 days later, the owner has went to the hospital so now I’m being told that it won’t be anytime soon. I’ve had to file an extension on my personal taxes and business taxes because of this company. Given, they recieved my information 6 weeks before the deadline. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!
