Talked to them over the phone about doing my small business taxes. They were all excited and told me to bring them right over. Dropped everything off at their office. Several weeks later I received all of my information back from them in the mail along with an undated letter stating, "That as of the date of this letter our firm will no longer be able to assist you..." No one there to talk to or explain what's going on. And they couldn't even put a date on their own letter that they reference. Feel like I dodged a bullet. If they can't get that right, how in the world can they ever do taxes right? Definitely recommend that you don't use them.
The team at Capitol Tax & Accounting was fantastic and I would highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable and responsive. Extremely satisfied with their service!
These guys bought out marjorie budahn out of Cottage Grove. We called them several times to set up an appointment to do our taxes and they wouldn’t answer the phone our call us back. We figured it was just because of how busy they were with tax season so we stopped in there and they had us drop off our taxes and they said it would be ready in about a week or 2. We never heard back from them. We called them and again no answer or call backs. Then we went to their shop in Cottage Grove and they had closed it up and no one was there anymore. We had to go to their shop on Broadway and confront them. Not only were the taxes not done but he was not sure when they would be done if ever. He said he would try to get it done. At this point we took all of our tax stuff to someone else. Don’t bother going to these guys. They are terrible. We told the people at the new place we took our taxes to about this problem and they said that several people have had this same problem with them.
